Nanoo S Pillai is also a Trustee and National co-ordinator of Consilium foundation, New Delhi, India (National co-ordinator of Manonmanium Sundaranal University, Thirunelveli, Tamil Nadu,India), an educational Trust providing education on university level and specialized educational courses involving managerial executives of all spheres, equipping them to be on the cutting edge in their respective fields.

He also runs a business in export of Super food products viz. Berries, Maple syrup etc. from North America to Asian countries. New products are in pipe line.

Mr. Pillai associated with Shree distilleries, Nepal and helped to organize technical collaboration with Morrison Bow more, Scotland, United Kingdom for the production of scotch whiskey in Nepal
